Amazon Post-Christmas Organization

Hey all!

I hope you all had great Christmas and holiday celebrations! We spent lots of family time together and had a wonderful time celebrating both Christmas and Hanukkah. I would love to hear about some of your favorite traditions! During 2020 we started going to a local lights show a few days before Christmas. We love surprising the kids with it and grabbing dinner afterwards. I’m curious when you take your decor down? Do you do it the day after Christmas, sometime between Christmas and New Years, or after the New Year? A lot of times I’m a mix – never the day after Christmas, though! That day is meant for post-Christmas celebration coma!

I am someone who loves to be organized, and the last few years, taking down ornaments has been a pain. This year, I’ve made it my mission to get some better storage to make clean up a cinch! Today I’m sharing some Christmas decor organization, as well as for toys. As much as I make it a goal to limit how many toys the kids get, between all the families it seems to always be more than I think. I make sure to do a large donation before Christmas time with the boys as a way to clear out toys that aren’t used as much, but also as a way to teach giving, appreciating having less “stuff”, and evaluating things that we value the most.
