Ilia Beauty Faves

Today on the blog I will be sharing with you one of my favorite beauty brands – Ilia! They are a clean brand, which I absolutely LOVE! And their products are amazing.

The Super Serum Skin Tint (I use shade “Bom Bom ST5”) is such a good light-medium weight coverage. I am not someone who likes to wear heavy foundation, so this is about as heavy as I would go. It gives a nice dewy finish and my skin feels so hydrated and plump. Plus, I love that it offers SPF 40 so I can wear it feeling good about my skin being protected. It also contains hyaluronic acid, which if you read my post about my Favorite Modere Products, then you know how awesome this is for your skin. It also contains niacinamide, which is a B3 vitamin – helpful for skin and hair. Hello firm, plump skin! So yeah, like I said, really great.

I also really love their True Skin Serum Concealer! This is one of the best I have used (I have shade Suma SC1.5). I know people love Tarte’s Shape Tape, but that has an EWG score of 6 so I don’t go for it. I like to stay 3 or below if I can on the EWG scores. But the Ilia concealer is super creamy and applies like a dream. It covers all my dark circles without me having to also apply a color corrector. Love that! I prefer it over the Beautycounter one (although I haven’t tried their reformulated one).

I also really wanted to try their Multi-sticks, and when I went to order I saw that they newly had added a color palette. It is so awesome because I got to try multiple colors to really get a feel for the ones I like best. There is a highlighter, bronzer, and multiple shades of pinks that can be used for blush/lip. I honestly think they are all great, and I use them all, but lately my favorite has been “In the Mood” which is a golden peach! They are all creamy and super blendable with just your fingers.

I received a free travel sized Limitless Mascara as well as their Volumizing Mascara that came as part of a mini set. Both are really good, and honestly I prefer the brush of the Volumizing Mascara, but the more I used the Limitless Mascara I found myself liking it better and better. It is more of the “comb” style brush, so if you don’t love those then it might not be for you (I don’t really like these but I have found this one to be the best I have used). But, personally I feel like this is the closes to the Idole mascara that so many people rave about, but it’s easier to remove. I found that the Idole, although it does give you awesome length, is SO hard to remove. When I want a little more volume or va-va-voom affect I’ll layer both Ilia’s mascaras, but for every day I like the Limitless Mascara.

Ilia’s Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil (also part of the mini set) is also really creamy and has awesome color! In the picture is shade “Only You”. It is the perfect pink — subtle enough that I can wear it every day, and I also love how it looks layered over lipstick.

One more item not pictured that I received a as part of the set is the Lip Wrap Overnight Treatment. OMG it is SO good! Super super hydrating. I love it!
