Kid Travel Essentials – Liska Living Picks
Hi, friends!
With summer being here and lots of trips on the docket, I figured I’d share some of my favorite kid travel essentials! We use these for both airplane and car travel. They are tried and true to keep kids entertained and not asking you 20 million times, “How long til we’re there?” No, seriously. The toniebox and headphones specifically have been a total game changer for us. Not only can my husband and I have a conversation without getting interrupted 50x in 10 seconds, but we also can listen to our own music/podcasts without feeling guilty. I’m not joking when I say this has been my favorite gift TO DATE for these kids. It is used on a daily basis.

Besides that, the sticker books are awesome! They are reusable stickers (I mean, what’s better than that?) and the books have information on the topics they cover. My kids can sit in the car or on the plane and do these for long periods of time. It’s also fun to do together on the plane!

The LCD drawing pads are also so awesome! They make rainbow colors and, also, no mess! You can erase with the touch of a button and also can lock it to save what is drawn or written. We like to play games on it, write on it, draw on it, it’s great. And they are super thin and lightweight so they fit easily in a bag/kids backpack.
On the same account, we also love the Water Wow! coloring books by Melissa & Doug. No mess and easy enough to fill the markers with water wherever. Plus, once they dry the colors go away and kids can do it all over again!
Lastly, we love these zip pouch sets. I love the variety of the colored ones. I use them for games, cords, crayons, snacks, basically anything I want to keep organized but easily accessible! I use the clear zipper pouches for crayons/markers or anything that I worry about spilling, like toiletry items, sunscreen (or other similar items). They are also great for keeping things dry if you’re at the beach!
Do you own any of these items? What would you add to this list? I’m always looking for easy things to entertain the kids in the car!
Speak soon, friends!
