Master Bedroom Makeover Part 2
Hey there!
I’m sharing an update of my primary bedroom. Last you heard from me, I had painted the wall behind my bed. I still LOVE it. Since then, I switched out my linens, got some new lamps, and FINALLY hung some artwork on my wall! See my post on Collection Prints where I got it. It is so pretty! Sharing the rest of the details below.
The bed linens are from Amazon. I’m super impressed with the quality of this brand! They are OEKO-TEX certified cotton and have seriously gotten softer with every wash. They have held up well so far over the last few months – even with my dog sleeping in our bed! (I do was every to every other week.) Sheets and duvet cover linked!
These Euro pillows are also from Target. The color is a really nice neutral beige/natural color, which I was having a hard time finding the perfect shade. This really is good! The throw blanket is the Casaluna brand at Target. It is a heavy blanket and really, really nice quality. I LOVE the rich gray color and how it pulls from the artwork but is a nice contrast from the white and natural linens.
These lamps are Threshold by Studio McGee, and let me tell you these are AMAZING quality! The gold detailing is beautiful. Two things I love about this lamp – the dial to turn this on is metal instead of plastic. It’s so easy to turn, and even cooler is that it allows you to dim the light! I love that.
Collection Prints: Lakefront in 30×20. I printed this through mpix and used the Glycee option and it turned out so, so well!
The frame is from Frame It Easy and is also excellent quality! It came well packaged and give very simple hanging instructions and even includes a video. The cost is very reasonable for such a large frame. Highly recommend! I got the “Derby” style frame in “Wheat” with a 2″ matting in the Smooth White (White Core). The cover is clear acrylic.
I plan to eventually paint the rest of my room either Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore or Alabaster by Sherwin Williams. I also want to do some picture frame molding on the feature wall. Last few things is to rearrange some dressers to make the space feel a little more cohesive and spacious, get a bench for the end of the bed, add some curtains for the windows to elevate the space a bit more, and add a rug to pull everything together! This will probably happen over the next year, but it’s something to look forward to. Don’t forget – a home takes time!
